Applications are now open for the 2023 Grad Staff!

The Western History Association is seeking qualified students to serve as members of the Graduate Conference Staff (aka "Grad Staff") for its 63rd Annual Conference in Los Angeles, CA! The Graduate Conference Staff is a group of motivated and hard working graduate students who are energized by the study of the North American West and hope to benefit from extra involvement in the WHA's premier annual event. Volunteering at our conference also looks great on a resume or CV.

WHA Grad Staffers earn tons of benefits, including free registration, meal and event tickets, and more! The conference will take place in Los Angeles October 25th-28th, with grad staff arriving a day early on October 24th. 

Deadline for applications is August 31st, 2023.

The WHA hosts a number of events and workshops designed specifically for graduate students, and graduate students are more than welcome to submit their work for presentations or awards.
